Jammu: Returning Officer for elections to the J&K Legislative Council, M. Ramzan today declared 5 candidates elected unopposed namely Chering Dorjay (BJP), Anayat Ali (PDP), Yasir Reshi (PDP), Sofi Yousaf (BJP) and Firdous Ahmed Tak (PDP) to be members of J&K Legislative Council. On the last day of withdrawal of candidature, BJP candidate Dr. Drakshan Andrabi withdrew her candidature.The elections will now take place for two seats (Kashmir Province) and 4 seats (Jammu Province) on March 2 (Monday) between 9 am and 4 pm.
