NEW DELHI: Swami Omji, who claims to be from the Hindu Mahasabha Party, has threatened to gun down Arvind Kejriwal whose party has won a landslide victory in the recently concluded Delhi elections.
I belonged to the dynasty of Parshuram, Swami Omji said. Im not a sadhu who merely rings bells.
Donning a Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) saffron cap, Swami Omji while talking to reporters on Monday said, I am from Hindu Mahasabha but BJP is my party. I am also global president of Om Saiji Party.”
He said since Asaram and Narayan Sai were in jail, the “responsibility” lied with him.
Swamis party symbol is flute the object of great reverence among the Hindus because Lord Krishna used to play it sending creatures into a trance with his melodious tunes.
I am against Kejriwal because he is anti-national, Swami said.
On 21, January 2014, I gate-crashed into his house and thrashed him.
Claiming to be from Hindu Mahasabha, he said, We killed Mahatma Gandhi because he tore India into pieces. We will try to convince anti-nationals like Kejriwal and if he doesn’t listen, we will shoot and kill him.
Swamis message has gone viral on social media. Omji had contested the Delhi Assembly elections against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal.
In an interview available on Youtube, he said if Kejriwal do not understand, he will be gunned down.
Hindu Mahasabha is our party and Nathu Ram Godse who assassinated Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi, also belonged to this party. In future, anybody who would go against the country, will be convinced affectionately, failing which he would be gunned down, he said.
It is pertinent to mention that Omji is close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged to have helped cut votes of the Congress and AAP in favour of BJP.
