Srinagar: To give a flip to boost the tourism potential in Kashmir, Director Tourism Farooq A Shah interacted with the ambassadors of Thailand, Singapore, Tanzania and UAE in New Delhi.
On the sidelines of one international conference titled international diplomatic new vision and new vigour with respect to tourism industry in the country. Shah requested the ambassadors to plead for lifting of advisories in their respective countries for different tourism destinations particularly Jammu Kashmir as these countries have immense potential to send their people to the Himalayan paradise Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh, a spokesperson of the Department said in a statement to KNS.
Shah requested the ambassadors to facilitate the visitors of their countries by providing them all necessary information about the tourist destinations of the country particularly Jammu and Kashmir, he said and added the ambassadors assured Shah all help in this regard.
