Heads of both factions of the Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq besides JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik have asked people to observe strike against the incident on Tuesday. Malik and Mirwaiz appealed people to hold peaceful protests against the killings and observe a complete shutdown on Tuesday.
Freedom Party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah and National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmed Khan also condemned the killing of Farooq Bhatand appealed people to observe complete shutdown on Tuesday.
