Srinagar: Hundreds of people Tuesday staged a protest demanding a thorough probe into the mysterious death of Kashmiri businessman in Goa.
Pertinently Merajuddin Chechu son of late Abdul Rehman resident of Lone Mohalla Nowpora Khanyar who was running a handicrafts shop at Tilanggot Goa from past many years was found hanging from a tree on Monday morning.
His body was brought to Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon while hundreds of people stage protest and demanded that a thorough probe should be conducted to establish the facts. The family members said that Meraj has been murdered and he did not commit the suicide. We can tell you with authority that Meraj has not committed suicide but it is a cold blooded murder and we want a probe so that murderers could be identified and booked, a relative of the slain businessman told CNS.
The body of the slain youth was taken in the form of a procession and was laid to rest at Maltaing Dalgate. (CNS)
