SRINAGAR: Highlighting the importance of peace and order for the prosperity of the State, Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar has stressed the need for better Police Public relations and greater synergy among security agencies.
Mr. Rajendra was chairing officers meeting at Police Control Room (PCR) here this evening. The meeting was attended by senior police officers including IGP Kashmir, Mr. A. G. Mir, IGP CRPF, Mr. K.S. Bandari, DIG CKR, Mr. G. H. Bhat, DIsG CRPF, Mr. K. M. Yadav and Mr. Raja Sekran, SSsP Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Imtiyaz Hussain Mir and SDPOs of Srinagar District.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Rajendra stressed upon the officers to maintain close coordination and ensure security, law and order in their respective jurisdictions. He asked to keep the activities of the inimical elements under surveillance, who would always try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. While dealing with such elements, it should be ensured that law abiding citizens are not put to any inconvenience, Mr. Rajendra said.
