Jammu: The Directorate of Archives Archaeology and Museums today released its heritage calendar showcasing the monumental glory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The calendar, issued by this Pioneer Cultural Organization for the first time, is aimed at to create heritage preservation awareness among the general public which covers the descriptive pictures of forts and archaeological monuments of the state.
The Heritage Calendar was released by Commissioner/Secretary Tourism and Culture, Shalindera Kumar, here today.
Shalendera appreciated the department for its efforts in conservation, preservation and maintenance of composite Cultural Heritage of the state. He said the department is not only preserving cultural heritage for posterity but also showcases it in more attractive manner to promote heritage tourism in the state so that the tourists are able to explore & appreciate our glorious past.
