Srinagar: The Para-medical students from different district of Kashmir Valley Wednesday staged a protest demonstration against the poor results of their exams and demanded that either there should be rechecking or the exam should be held again.
The protesting Para-medical students assembled at Press Enclave Srinagar and raised slogans against the concerned authorities in support of their demands.
The agitating male and female students alleged that the authorities are playing with their future. They alleged that their two years course is still incomplete as authorities fail to conduct examination at right time.
Seventy percent of us failed to qualify the exam as the paper was out of syllabus. The authorities admitted their fault and awarded five grace marks to us. We want rechecking or re-examination of our paper, they said.
When contacted, Principal GMC, Dr Rafiq Ahmed Pampori told the teaching staff responsible for the poor performance of the students. We have awarded five extra marks to these students and apart from that we can do nothing, he said.
