SRINAGAR: The Special Operation Group (SOG) of police have detained four persons in separate in parts of north Kashmirs Kupwara district, official sources said.
They said the SOG detained Bashir Ahmad Baba, who is a tailor by profession, on Friday late night from his house in Drugmulla area of Kupwara district.
The man has been detained for questioning by SOG. His name came after the arrest of Muawiya, a Lashkar-e-Taiba commander from Pakistan who was apprehended by forces yesterday in Choora, Sopore from the house of Panthers Party (JKNPP) leader Farooq Ahmad Bhat, who is also a Sarpanch and had unsuccessfully contested recent Assembly polls from Sangrama , sources said.
