JAMMU, JANUARY 12-During the fourth day of Handicrafts exhibition-cum-sale underway at Dussehra ground from January, 08 a function was organized to boost the morale of wearers and artisans who have displayed their items in the expo.
Director Handicrafts Mr. Tariq Hussain Ganai on the occasion stressed upon creating healthy buyer-seller relations and also generating awareness about various welfare schemes of the department. He said that expo which would continue till January 22 would not only provide platform and marketing avenues to the artisans but also ensure better products to the buyers.
On the occasion, artists of Cultural Wing of Information Department presented a cultural show which enthralled the audience.
Joint Director Handicrafts, Manisha Sareen, Development Officer Textiles Deekika Rana, Deputy Director Handicrafts Anju Gupta besides other senior officers form handicrafts department were present.
