Srinagar: The body of a tipper driver, who working with National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), was fished out by police and Navy from Uri dam in north Kashmirs Baramulla district.
An official told GNS that the body of Abdul Kareem Mughal was fished out at Salamabad in Uri along with the tipper by police and MARCOS, the commando unit of Navy.
Mughal was swept away by a strong current of water when his tipper slipped while clearing the muck from the banks of the river on Wednesday, the official said. (GNS)
