SRINAGAR: Omar Abdullah, who resigned as the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Wednesday, vowed to return to power and said that he would be back.
Abdullah, changed his bio on twitter and took to the social networking site to express his feelings, posting a blank photograph with the legend ‘Keep calm, cause I’ll be back’, quoting the famous Arnold Schwarzenegger line.
Despite losing from Sonawar seat and just about managing to cling on to Beerwah with a slender margin of 1,000 votes, Abdullah also took his party’s failure sportingly.
“Incidentally, in 2002, Mufti became CM with 16 MLAs and NC with 28 sat in opposition so excuse me if I don’t oblige by rolling over to play dead,” he tweeted.
“6 years ago I drove in stake my claim to form a government in J-K, now I’m driving in to resign. The wheel comes full circle,” he added.
