Giving details, the PRO said, I was returning back from Limber, Uri, after attending a social get-together there when I was intercepted by a group of miscreants at around 4.30 p.m. who, I apprehended where to cause physical harm to me.
Fearing for my safety, I called up a local SHO and requested for Police protection along my way. He said and added, On the arrival of Police party on the spot, according to the PRIO, the miscreants leveled a false charge of money distribution against him.
The PRO claimed he himself immediately offered for search of himself and his vehicle which was done by Police in presence of a Duty Magistrate and general public but nothing incriminate was found and I proceeded to home safely alongwith Police protection after the miscreants were chased away by the Police.
