SRINAGAR: A retired police officer and an ardent supporter of Peoples Conference, who participated in Modis rally in Srinagar on Monday revealed that Sajad Lone arranged 220 vehicles for his supporters to attend Modis rally in Srinagar.
Hundreds of PC supporters are present here. All the arrangements to ferry us to and fro have been made by Sajad Lone. He arranged 220 vehicles for us to show our presence here, Gulzar Ahmed a resident of Natnusa Handwara told CNS inside the Cricket Stadium soon after the culmination of election rally.
At least 15,000 people, both from Valley and outside Kashmir participated in Modis rally.
Another resident, Nazir Gojri from Chogul Handwara said that he is not a BJP supporter but arrived here on the directions of his party leader Sajad Lone whose workers informed us about the event and arranged vehicles for us. I was impressed the way Modi addressed people. He seems sincere and wants over all development for Kashmir, Gojri said.
PC Chairman Sajad Lone vehemently denounced the reports that his party had arranged any vehicle for the Prime Ministers rally. He said that some elements were hell-bent to tarnish his image. There may be some mischievous elements present in the rally who might have used my name to defame me, he said.
