Srinagar: Police have raided the residence of JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal again while JKLF district vice president Kulgam Assadullah Sheikh, who was arrested by police after the completion of elections in Kulgam, is seriously ill in police custody, a party statement said on Saturday.
Despite all these oppressive measures JKLF leaders and activists continued their election boycott campaign and visited many areas in Kashmir today. Led by district president Islamabad Mohammed Ishaaq Ganai and secretary Syed Muzafar JKLF activists visited several places of Islamabad town like, Nai bastee, KP road Mohalla Masjid Ahlihadees Sher Bagh, Mohalla, Sheikh ul Aalam Masjid, Lal Chowk, mohalla Qaziabgh Masjid , Mohalla Alnoor,Masjid Mir Danater,Achabal Adda, Nendapora etc, another delegation led by district president Baramulah Abdul Rashid Magloo visited Boitangoo, Dangerpora ,Wadoora,Brath Kalan, Gundbrath, Bomai, Tujar Shareif in Zainageer, Seelo, Behrampora,Marazi Gund,Hadipora,Chitlora,Reban Noopora, in Rafiaabad, Baramullah ,Baramullah old town, Chankhan, BabaRaza, Dogeltaing, Khushal Matoo, Jamia Masjid Sopore, Khankahi Moalla,Sopore Chowk Bus Ada, and another delegation led by Tariq Ahmad and Khizar Mohammad visited Pulwana and Shupian localities including Kakapora, Samboora, Kandizaal ,Wathoora,Rehmoo,Tangpona,Keller,Noorpora Tral and B. Ed College Tral while another delegation visited Budgam areas like Wagar and Razwen, the statement said.
