Srinagar: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Saturday distanced itself from the Tral grenade blast and blamed political parties rivalry for the attack.
We, the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, want to make it clear that we have no connection with the grenade blast that occurred at Tral Bus Stand, the posters attributed to the militant outfit, which appeared in Tral town of south Kashmir, read, according to a report by GNS.
All this is the outcome of rivalry between political parties, it said, and expressed heartfelt sympathy with kin of slain civilians and with injured persons.
The posters further read: It is the handiwork of Indian agencies so that we (Hizb) get defamed. We, in strong words, condemn the attack.
