SRINAGAR: Top BJP leadership is camping in Srinagar to give final shape to Prime Minister Narendra Modis address scheduled for December 8 at SK Stadium here.
According to the KNS, a stage wherefrom Modi would address people, has been kept 60 feet away from the audience with the arrangements being made so that around one lakh people at one time could hear the Prime Minister speak.
A stage has been designed 75ftX75ft area with the facility of the washroom also. Reports also informed that the stadium has been fragmented into three areas. One has been kept for VVIPs, another for VIPs and the third one for media.
The BJP leaders also held a closed door meet with the district administration here to review the arrangements being made for the Prime Ministers visit. The traffic diversion has also been kept in place with the separate route being planned for Modi from Airport to Shere-e-Kashmir Stadium Srinagar. Also the Srinagar traffic has been fragmented into three different zones to avoid chaos on the roads of the summer capital.
Meanwhile BJP national spokesman Tarun Chak stated that the present Modi address will change Kashmir for better and that new era of peace and propensity will be witnessed by the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the very near future. He stated that the politics of exploitation will end now and that visit of the Prime Minister will mark the new beginning for the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Tarun also took a jibe at the regional parties here, stating that they always have exploited peoples aspirations and such slogans have been raised in the past that did no good to the people of this land.
Claiming that BJP will cross the 44 mark during the ongoing elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP general secretary stated that the regime of corruption will end in the state with its people to heave a sigh of relief. We are committed to make JK a modern state that could have all the facilities that a state deserves. JK is the crown of India and BJP believes to mark new beginning of development and growth for Jammu and Kashmir.
Also reports later informed that several leaders of different parties along with scores of their supporters joined BJP in presence of the BJP leaders KPS Gill, Dinesh Aroora, Charan Jeet Singh Khalsa and others.
