SRINAGAR: A teenager boy is missing from his home in Srinagar from past four days, his family said on Wednesday.
16-year-old Aqib Hussain left his home in Hazratbal’s Mulphaq area on November 1 after his mother scolded him and hasn’t returned since. “My wife scolded him as he was not paying attention to studies and ran away,” the missing boy’s father Ashiq Hussain was quoted as saying.
He told an online portal the boy had gone to his aunt’s place in Tealbal after leaving his home on Saturday. “He would usually go to his aunt’s place if he had a tiff at home and when his mother checked with the aunt hours after he left they confirmed that he had gone there,” he said.
Ashiq said on Sunday he called the family in Taelbal but to his surprise they said that the boy had left hours after coming on Saturday. “Since then he is missing and we have tried to find him everywhere,” he added.
