SRINAGAR: With the Assembly elections round the corner, the Bhartiya Janta Partys National general secretary organizations Ram Madav visited Kashmir on a secret mission and reportedly met several top political leaders.
Informed sources said that he arrived in Srinagar on Friday and before leaving to New Delhi he met Peoples Conference president Sajad Lone and several political leaders.
Interestingly, the BJP leaders remained tight-lipped regarding what transpired in the meetings with Madhav, however sources said that the party high command has send him on a secret mission to Kashmir before the Assembly elections.
Sources said that some confidential discussion was held regarding the Assembly elections between him and the leaders who met him.
Meanwhile state unit of the BJP said that National general secretary did not visit the state party office during his visit.
Over the last few days he had a series of meetings with leading public intellectuals and leaders in connection with the assembly elections one of the top leaders of the BJP said. KNS
