SRINAGAR: A Member of Legislative Assembly Wednesday was fined by traffic police after he broke the signal here in city centre.
Official sources said that Engineer Rashid, who is an MLA from Langate constituency, broke traffic signal at Jehangir Chowk.
Rashid, they said, was travelling in a Santro car bearing number JK09 8500. A traffic police official, when contacted, said the law is for all whether a VIP or a common man. (GNS)
