SRINAGAR: The District Magistrate Wednesday while summoning the General Manager (GM) Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) Kashmir, asked him to improve services or face further action in future.
Sources said that while presenting himself before the court of District magistrate, DG BSNL assured that within a stipulated time of 20 days, the network including the landlines shall be restored across the flood affected areas of Kashmir valley.
Reports informed that the DC Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Shah also warned the BSNL authorities of further action if they fail to improve the network at an earliest.
The warrant was issued against BSNL o the bases of scores of complaints received by the district authorities against the erratic BSNL services.
