Srinagar: In a scathing attack on National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana, Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma Saturday said that Rana looks at politics from business point of view and he is the one who always wants to maximize his profits in every field. Sharma said that Rana belongs to that family, which cares more for his profits than the others.
The allegations leveled by Davindar Singh Rana against me are baseless and untrue. I am a Congress man and I will be a Congress man whole of my life. Rana can go to any extent to appease his immediate boss and I am telling you the way he used political arena for his benefits, no other leader did that in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, Sharma told CNS adding that Rana is a clever man who knows how to make maximum gains from any situation.
Pertinently, Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma resigned from State Cabinet alleging that his proposal to frame a policy for the regularization of the daily wagers was sabotaged by a few National Conference Ministers.
Congress leader added that State Government particularly National Conference is playing with the sentiments of daily wagers and the some leaders of this party want to adjust their own workers to gain maximum votes in the coming Assembly elections. From last six years, these leaders did nothing for people and now as the elections are approaching, they have started remembering their supporters, Sharma said.
He however added that from past six years the Coalition Government in the State worked hard to address the problems of common people. There were only few leaders who created bottlenecks, rest of the leaders part of coalition government worked for the welfare of the common people, he said.
