SRINAGAR: A bullet riddled body was recovered in south Kashmir, where a constable of Indian Reserve Police (IRP) was shot dead by gunmen on October 23 night.
Panic gripped village Dairoo when a bullet riddled body was found in the fields by some locals.
The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Reyaz Ahmad Khan son of Ali Mohammad Khan, resident of Kariwa Manloo, Shopian.
Shopian Police have registered a case and investigation is on, they said, adding after conducting all medico-legal formalities, police handed over the body of the deceased to his relatives for last rites. This was the second such incident in south Kashmir during the past 72 hours
