Srinagar : Terming the blocking of aid from neighboring nation Pakistan, Muslim world and other countries for flood-hit Kashmir, by India, as aggressive step, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader and chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah said that by such decision, Modi government wants to keep the people of Kashmir away from demanding the right of self-determination.
By such decision, Modi government showed its anti-Muslim face, but our nation is such a brave one that it will overcome both the flood crisis and Indian oppression, In Sha Allah (God willing), Shah said, while addressing people at Kanihama, after distributing relief material among the people.
Paying glorious tributes top Bijbehara martyrs who were massacred on Oct 22, 1993, Shah said we will never forget those 51 martyrs and those 150 people who were injured on that fateful day. The crime of these innocent people was that they were offeringfateha to the martyrs, he said.
