SRINAGAR: A man who was missing since August, was found with his head separated from the body in north Kashmirs Kupwara district, police sources said Saturday.
Police sources said that Farooq Ahmad Malkar, son of Muhammad Ismail Malkar, resident of Zurhama in Kupwara, was missing since August 15 after he left for his Brother-in-laws house.
We recovered his mutilated body in Zurhama forest at 1:00 am last night, police sources said, adding the investigations have been taken up. It is not immediately clear who is behind the incident, they said.
Meanwhile, police sources, while quoting his brother-in-law said, the deceased had left his house.
2 Kids Injured in Tral
SRINAGAR: Two children, including a minor, were injured after an explosive shell went off in south Kashmirs Tral area.
Reports said that 15 year old Gousia, daughter of Fayaz Ahmad and 8 year old Ahsaa, son of Bashir Ahmad Ganai, sustained injuries after they were fiddling with an explosive shell at Nanar Midoora in Tral.
The two were immediately rushed to hospital.
