SRINAGAR: Residents in a South Kashmir village were shocked to find half a dozen human skulls during removal of muck accumulated during recent floods there.
Some residents of Gulzarpora village in Pulwama district were excavating clay and removing mud amassed during recent floods with the help of a JCB near a water body when they discovered the skulls.
During the excavation, we found 5 human skulls, GNS quoting a resident reported.
Some utensils made of mud were also found. After the news spread, more villagers rushed to the spot to see the skulls. Another resident said that this has created fear among villagers.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman, 60, said that he has never seen such thing in his entire life. Many elders of the village shared same views.
The residents said despite being informed, no civil or police officer visited the spot till late on saturday. (GNS)
