POONCH: The India and Pakistan Tuesday exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch district.
Official sources said that at around 1.30 pm, the Pakistan troops targeted Indian posts along LoC drawing retaliation from Indian troops.
The Indian army retaliated in a strong manner, said an official. Pakistan troops targeted 10 Indian posts during with gunfire which continued till 4 pm.
However, no loss of life or property was reported during firing, they added.
