SRINAGAR: Muslim League leader Masrat Alam Bhat was today shifted from a Jammu jail to Baramulla sub jail after a Jammu court granted him bail in a matter he had appeared before it.
According to a Muslim League spokesman Mohammad Rafiq Ganaie, Bhat was lodged in a Jammu jail in a case registered against him and was produced before the court that granted bail to him. He was later shifted to city police station wherefrom he was shifted to Baramulla sub jail. Meanwhile, the ML spokesman said that district secretary Shopian Tariq Ahmad Ganaie has been released.
