Srinagar: Ferozudin, who claimed to be oldest man on planet, breathed his last during wee hours of Friday in Bejihama Boniyar area of Uri town in District Baramulla. He as per his government birth certificate was 144.
Feroz who had five wives and 10 issues according to his birth certificate issued by State Government was born March 10, 1872.
Feroz was a fruit trader by profession who lived in Karachi Pakistan for quite some before returning to Kashmir when he was 30.
His grandson Abdul Rashid said that Feroz was not feeling well from past month. He was bed ridden and breathed his last shortly before the morning prayers.
