Srinagar: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has expressed deep grief over the loss of precious human lives in a road accident which took place in Ramban area Thursday morning. The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. one lakh relief in favour of deceased and Rs. 10000 for injured. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister conveyed his solidarity and sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
Meanwhile Ghulam Nabi Azad, leader of the opposition in the opposition, has expressed grief and shock over the loss of precious human lives in the road accident at Nachlana Ramban.
While conveying his deep condolences to the bereaved families, Azad said that he share the grief and pain of those who have lost their loved ones. Azad prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and wished speedy recovery of those who have got injured in the heart-rending accident.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today expressed deep shock and grief over the road accident in which eight people lost their lives and three people were injured when a sumo skidded off the road at Nachalana Talab Banihal.
Expressing deep sympathies with family of victims the Party president Mehbooba Mufti conveyed her deep condolences to them. She also prayed for early recovery of the injured one. Party leader and candidate for Banihal B A Rouniyal also visited the bereaved families to express condolences with them. He also demanded exgratia for the victims and free treatment for injured.
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah also expressed grief and shock at the tragic loss of lives in the road accident. Party leader Sheikh Nazir Ahmad and spokesman Junaid Mattoo also condoled the deaths.
