Srinagar: The body of a lady who drowned in river Jehlum near Cement Bridge here was fished out by the Baramulla Police on Saturday.
A police spokesnman said the deceased was later identified as Ruqaya Begum wife of Abdul Hamid Malik of Sangrama, Baramulla.
After completing all legal formalities Police handed over the body of deceased to her relatives for last rites. Baramulla police have registered a case in this regard.
