Srinagar: Basharat Najar, a prominent social and political activist from Bandipore assembly constituency, Tuesday, joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of the party Chief Spokesperson, Naeem Akhtar. The senior party leader and MLA Bandipore, Nizamuddin Bhat, was also present on the occasion.
Basharat was the Congress partys youth district president for district Bandipore.
Basharat was impressed by the PDPs policies, leadership and the current political scenario in the state. He said that he will work hard for the PDPs pro-people agenda.
Welcoming him in the party fold Nizamuddin Bhat said Basharats joining will surely help the party to build youth cadre in the assembly segment.
