SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has denounced the criminal silence of the heads of all the 56 Muslim Countries of the World over the massacre of more than 1800 innocent Palestinians, including women and children, by Zionist Israeli forces.
In a statement here the General Secretary of HCBA, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat said: It is astonishing that heads of these countries have not even met once to discuss the issue and to find out ways and means to stop the bloodshed, and evolve a strategy to counter the Israeli aggression.
The Bar Association feels that these heads of Islamic states fear Israel and America so much that they dont even dare to recall their ambassadors from Israel or close Israels embassies in their countries as a mark of protest. Turkey for example has announced officially to mourn the death of Palestinians for three days but has refused to break its ties with Israel. Likewise the Monarch of Saudi Arabia, the Israeli backed king of Jordan and military dictator of Egypt have all effectively backed Israeli assault on Gaza and are even happy over the neutralization of Hamas by Israeli forces. On the other hand Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Salvador and Brazil where there is no Muslim population or is very thin have either broken their ties with Israel or have asked Israeli ambassadors to leave their countries as a mark of protest against the Israeli onslaught on Palestinians.
It appears that these heads of state have no soul, no conscience, no courage, no mind, no vision, no wisdom and above all no sympathy with their Muslim brethren, Bhat said.
The Bar Association while showing its solidarity with the Palestinian people is of the firm belief that until and unless the Muslims of the world unite and understand the game plan of Zionists and Imperialists and resist the same collectively and effectively they are bound to meet the same fate as that of Palestine and perish, he said.
