Srinagar: The Controller Drugs and Food Control
Organisation (CD&FCO) today issued a drug alert in the
Kashmir valley asking people not to use a drug ‘ Neomin
Plus Bolus’ manufactured by a Jammu-based company.
An official spokesman said that CD&FCO issued a notice for the information of the public in general and the stakeholders to discontinue usage and stop sale of Neomin plus Bolus drug samples manufactured by Minil Laboratories Pvt Ltd, 26, Industrial Estate, Digiana, Jammu.
He said that the dealers who are in possession of
any stocks of the said drugs should inform the local drug
authorities, along with procurement details to help the
department for effecting product recall.
The Drug was found not of Standard Quality by the Government Analyst, he said.
