SRINAGAR: Coming down heavily on Member Parliament Muzafar Hussain Beigh for accusing National Conference of stooping low by using senior worst level of tricks against political rivals National Conference senior leader and Minister for Higher Education Muhammad Akbar Lone Friday said that politics of Peoples Democratic Party is based on lies and lies will never become truth even if spoken unlimited times.
Lone alleged that PDP supporters in Sonawari constituency are known for creating trouble and law and order problem. If you dont believe, go and ask locals how PDP workers assaulted a Sarpanch and two drivers of Public Health Engineering (PHE) drivers and injured them when they were supplying water to people at Gund Jahangir Sumbal, Lone said adding that if Muzaffar Hussain Beigh thinks that he can still hoodwink the people of Sonawari by his hollow slogans and emotive issues then he is living in a fools paradise. He said that people are wise enough to understand tactics of PDP and time will itself testify the truth.
Terming the statement of Beigh absurd and foolish, Muhammad Akbar Lone said that PDP has no base in Sonawari constituency and it is taking shelter of goons to muzzle the voice of National Conference supporters. People of Kashmir are well aware about the disreputable politics of PDP and I think that the party should stop befooling people of Kashmir any longer. History bears testimony that this party (PDP) has gained nothing other than alienation among the people owing to its dual nature, he claimed.
Meanwhile locals from Sonawari constituency alleged that some PDP supporters attacked the Sarpanch Block Hajin and two drivers of PHE department when they were busy in supplying water at Gund Jahangir Sumbal in North Kashmirs Bandipora district. Some PDP workers on the behest of local leader injured two PHE drivers Abdul Hamid and Ghulam Muhammad. They also attacked Sarpanch Block Hajin Noor Muhammad Bhat and injured him critically, a local Muhammad Ashraf told a news outlets adding that it has become a routine for PDP workers in Sonawari constituency to attack National Conference cadres.
