SRINAGAR: The Public Service Commission (PSC) today declared the result of the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2013. 20236 candidates appeared in the Preliminary Examination, 2477 candidates were declared to have qualified the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2013.The Main Examination was conducted from 01.03.2014 to 03.04.2014 at Jammu and Srinagar, 341 candidates qualified for interview which was conducted from 23.06.2014 to 21.07.2014 at Srinagar. 01 candidate did not appear for the interview.
The PSC has notified the list of 99 candidates on the basis of the merit for being called for Medical Examination. Ms.Saba Noor has topped in the examination. 30 female candidates figure in the list of 99 candidates. 13 candidates belonging to reserved categories have found place in the open merit category.
It would be worthwhile to mention that the applications for Preliminary Examination were invited in the month of June, 2013. The Preliminary Examination was conducted on 29thSeptember, 2013. The whole exercise has been completed in less than a year. Commission is also conducting Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2014 in October 2014 for which applications were invited in the month of June, 2014. This shall be the Sixth consecutive Combined Competitive Examination being conducted by the Commission.
