SRINAGAR: All J&K Hospital Development Fund Employees Union on Wednesday held a peaceful demonstration outside Chief Ministers residence in Srinagar seeking immediate regularization of their services.
The protesting male and female employees accused the Government of indifference. There are around 1300 employees working in various hospitals across the Valley and drawing salary from the hospital development fund. Some of the staff members have crossed the upper age limit and many are nearing it. The Government has failed to do anything substantial for regularizing their services in these hospitals, President of the Union Nisar Ahmad Mir said.
The protestors after given assurance of redressal by police and administrative officials dispersed peacefully.
