SRINAGAR: Three persons died in different road accidents in Kargil and Kulgam.
A driver of an unknown vehicle lost control over the vehicle and fell in river Suru at Tangol, Kargil.
Police has launched a search operation to retrieve the vehicle and fish out bodies from the river. So far police was able to retrieve the body of a boy. More details to follow.
A Truck bearing registration number JK10/2073 meet with an accident at Changla, Kargil, resulting in on spot death of the truck driver Rinchen Nagmail son of Nawan Stnain resident of Bodhkharboo , Kargil. Kargil police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tipper bearing registration number JK013C/1211 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Iqbal Shah resident of Chanser, in the jurisdiction of police station Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
