Srinagar : A Policeman guarding Abdul Majeed Padroo, PDP leader, was injured when a petrol bomb was hurled at the vehicle he was traveling by at Qaimoh area in south Kashmirs Kulgam district, Police sources said Tuesday.
Quoting official sources a GNS report said that Abdul Majeed Padroo was on way from Qaimoh to Kulgam but when he reached near higher secondary school, a masked youth attacked the Gypsy with a petrol bomb.
In the incident a police Constable Mohammad Yaqoob sustained injuries and the vehicle also got damaged, sources said.
Meanwhile police have registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
