In the Holy Quran Almighty Allah says, And what is (the matter) with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and (for) the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?
This verse of the Holy Quran really reflects on todays conduct of the over 1.5 billion Muslims all around the world and their over 50 states and their rulers/leaders. The Palestinians, who are again facing Israeli aggression, are seeking help from the Muslim world but there is no one to hear their cries.
We the Muslims have literally forgotten the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. For us the laws, rules, conventions and dictates of US, UN and Europe are more important than what Allah says. Islam makes us one Ummah and expects from us to help our oppressed brothers and sisters but we have divided ourselves in different nations under UN charter and cannot think of helping the oppressed ones like Palestinians.
As has happened in case of Afghanistan and Iraq, if Muslims living in different parts of the world in their individual capacity come forward to help their oppressed brothers and sisters in Palestine they would be dubbed terrorists and extremists. So practically for Palestinians, who badly need the help of their brothers in Islam, we the Pakistanis, the Saudis, the Iranians, the Iraqis, the Egyptians etc have nothing to offer because we are first Pakistanis/Saudis/Iranians/Iraqis/Egyptian and then anything (Muslim etc) else. This is what US and the UN have taught us.
Sorry Palestinians! You may be bombarded by Israel, your men, women and children are of course being brutally killed, we also know that you are denied of your rights but its not our problem. We may have sympathy for you but its not in the interest of Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt etc etc to help you. Yes we can issue a statement condemning Israeli aggression but please dont expect from us to practically help you because US does not allow this and the UN does not endorse this.
While the Muslim world is in a constant sleep mode on issues concerning Islam and there is no Muslim ruler to stand up and be counted, British MP George Galloway tried to awaken the conscience of the Muslim rulers.
In his Facebook comment, Galloway said, Will anyone, any Arab or Muslim leader would stand up and lift even a finger to help the Palestinian people in this massacre? May God damn you. Where is Erdogan? The would be Ottaman protector? Where Where is Walid bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud co-owner of Fox and Sky News? Where are the Kings and Emirs of the Arab world? So ready to pay for the murder of Arabs. Where is King Abdullah, Custodian of two mosques? Where is General Sisi, the new Nasser?Galloway added, I address the Arab and Muslim leaders sincerely with this question. Have you no sense of shame? Judge yourself before you are judged ..
