Srinagar: Demanding general amnesty to the stone throwing youth of valley, Youth National Conference on Wednesday in a detailed meet with the senior party leadership stressed that the cases registered against the youth be withdrawn at an earliest.
According to the statement issued to press, YNC led by its provincial president Salman Sagar held a one on one meet with the senior leadership of national conference wherein a threadbare discussion over the strategy vis-à-vis the forthcoming polls was held. The meeting deliberated over the necessary measures being taken up by the partys youth wing and the involvement of youth as a vital and decisive force during the polls.
Salman also stressed for the general amnesty to the stone throwers of valley- maintaining that they need to be given a chance live a dignified life. The he along with his party men held meetings with Provincial president NC Nasir Aslam Wani, Shameema Firdous, Mohammad Sayeed Akhoon and other senior party leaders.
The statement maintained that the need to take youth on board was also taken into discussion and the problems pertaining to the thousands of youth volunteers women and their resolution was stressed upon. It was remarked further that the senior NC leadership assured timely actions into the issues submitted by YNC.
The poll preparations ahead of the assembly elections in the state were also discussed in detail and Salman appraised the party leadership about the activities of the youth members at present for registering triumph in the forthcoming polls.
Meetings also stressed upon the job opportunities be given to the youth and the posts lying vacant with the government be filled at an earliest.
