New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha today witnessed an uproar on the issue of alleged destruction of several Home Ministry files, including those related to the assassination of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, with the Opposition demanding a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Replying during Zero Hour, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad denied the allegation.
However, Opposition members, including those from the Congress, the Trinamopol Congress and the JD(U) demanded that the Prime Minister give a statement on the issue. UNI
