MUMBAI: The holy month of Ramzan seems to have the same mellowing effect on the rival Khans of Bollywood- Shah Rukh and Salman who have had a blow-hot, blow-cold relationship for a majority of the past few years. Ever since a big public fight erupted between the two erstwhile friends at Katrina Kaifs birthday party in 2008, the two seemed to finally bury the hatchet at Congress politician Baba Siddiquis Iftar party last year. They have repeated that gesture again this year, almost making it a tradition to look forward to. The newly wed couple- Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee are reportedly planning to host a big Iftar party to which all the big Khans of Bollywood- Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman Khan are likely to be invited. Thats the next big photo-op all Khan fans are looking forward to.
Zee News reports that the two biggies of B-Town- Shah Rukh and Salman came face to face once again during the holy month of Ramzan at an Iftar party thrown by Baba Siddiqui and attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and famous writer and Salman’s father, Salim Khan. In the spirit of the occasion, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan put aside their differences again and hugged each other.
Sallu looked dapper in a blue shirt while SRK was charming with his long locks tied into a ponytail.
The two who were fast friends earlier but then went their separate ways after their infamous brawl at Katrina Kaifs birthday party, hugged each other during an Iftaar party thrown by the politician in 2013 as well. It seemed then that the King Khan and Bhai have buried their differences and may have reconciled. While they have maintained cordial relations in public, the two never really came together other than at formal meetings in award shows.
It is rumoured that Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra have decided to host a lavish Iftar party this week. And since Mr and Mrs Chopra are quite close to the three Khans- Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan, there is a possibility that they may all be invited and could attend the Iftar bash of the newly-wed couple. Should that happen, Bollywood fans are waiting to see if there could be another friendly hug and perhaps more exchanged between the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan Arjun co-stars.
