RAMZAN MIGRANTS: Hoards of people have descended on Valley from Rajasthan with aim to fetch quick bucks in the holy month of Ramzan. Shanty towns have mushroomed along Srinagar Bypass where these seasonal beggars put up. Many among them are broom makers who shift to Kashmir every Ramzan. When asked for the reason of their journey one Nizamudin from Jaipur said they shut their business in Rajasthan every Ramzan and head for Kashmir as Kashmiris generously pay them during the holy month.
