Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendera Modis visit to Kashmir, authorities on Friday placed some senior separatist leaders under house arrest while the JKLF chairman Yasin Malik was detained in early morning raids at his residence.
The DGP K Rajindera Kumar told agencies on Thursday that the decision has been taken by the local administration after assessment of the situation. These decisions are taken by the local administration after thorough assessment of the situation on ground, he added.
