Srinagar: Army on Wednesday opened fire near Line of Control in Keran sector of north Kashmirs Kupwara district.
GNS, quoting official sources, said in a report that following the suspicious movement at Farkiyen Gali near LoC, the soldiers of 7 Gadhwal opened fire upon them. However, no killing or injury was reported.
Meanwhile, following the firing, the forces have started conducting searches in the area which is still going on when reports last came in.
