SRINAGAR: Lt Gen Subrata Saha, Chinar Corps Commander reviewed the security arrangements ahead of the annual Amarnathj pilgrimage which is scheduled to commence from tomorrow, an army spokesman said.
” The Chinar Corps Commander visited the areas of Nilagarar, Sheshnag and Chandanwari and took stock of the arrangements made by Army for providing environmental security for the conduct of the Amarnathji Yatra. He was briefed by the Commanders on ground regarding the security arrangements, preparation and readiness to meet various contingencies. GOC also interacted with various agencies deployed for the security of Yatra,” he added.
“The troops were highly motivated with the visit of the Corps commander and are geared up to undertake their task.”
