Srinagar: Commissioner Secretary, Health & Medical Education, Gazzanfar Hussain probing molestation charges leveled against Director Health Kashmir by a staff nurse has submitted his detailed report to Minister for Health & Medical Education, Taj Mohiuddin.
Taj Mohiuddin while sharing the details of the report said The report has exonerated Director Health Services KashmirDr Saleem-ur-Rehman.
CCTV footage available with me clearly shows that nothing has happened and all the allegations leveled by the Staff Nurse are baseless. Nowhere in CCTV footage Director could be seen alone with the complainant Nurse, CNS quoted the minister while citing details from the report.
Taj Mohiuddin said that the Director of Health Services was innocent and from the day one he was sure that all these allegations were baseless and false. I am still minutely examining the report but I can tell you with authority that Commissioner Secretary who was entrusted with the job to probe these allegations has completely exonerated all the accused, he said adding that before making the report public, it will be sent to the Government to take a final call.
Taj revealed that the report had recommended stern action against the complainant Nurse for defaming a reputed officer without any reason.
Pertinently, a staff Nurse had filed a complaint with the police alleging that Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman and some officials of Health department working in south Kashmir tried to outrage her modesty. As the news spread, Minister for Health Taj Mohiuddin had claimed that it has become a routine for the Nurse staff to level baseless allegation against the officials while the police within four hours of the complaint claimed through an handout that scene of incident and statements of some eyewitnesses prima facie negate the allegations.
