Srinagar: Suspected militants on Tuesday evening hurled a grenade towards a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in north Kashmirs Sopore area of Baramulla district, official sources said.
Official sources said that the suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards 179 Battalion camp of CRPF in Sopore town injuring a civilian identified as Faizan.
The boy had received minor splinter injuries, a senior medical official said.
Soon after the incident, huge contingents of police, CRPF and army arrived at the spot and cordoned off whole area. The forces conducted searches which were on till last reports came, sources said.
