Srinagar: Two persons were arrested by police in South Kashmir on Friday after a female complained against them allegedly for making objectionable remarks.
Police said that a woman filed a complaint at police station Mattan and soon after the complaint police swung into action and arrested two men named in the complaint.
The case against them with the FIR number 45/2014 under section 294 and 506 RPC has been registered at the police station.
Reports said that the woman in her complaint had informed the police that the two persons Zaffarullah Sheikh and Abid Hussain Khan were passing indecent comments on her from the past several months and were harassing her through such actions. (KNS)
